TRANSAVIA has launched its fifth Sustainability Report, "Embracing Tomorrow," offering a clear vision of how what the future looks like for a business that responsibly embraces ESG standards: massive investment in renewable energy, positive social impact, high quality and safety standards from grain to fork, and a firm commitment to ethics and good business governance.

The report provides a comprehensive overview of the company’s impact on people, society, animals, and the environment, showcasing how TRANSAVIA’s team has responsibly managed these aspects to strengthen the company’s performance and secure a sustainable future. It transparently presents both qualitative and quantitative data on the performance of Romania's leading poultry market leader performance, including progress toward commitments, achievements, challenges, and the company’s broader societal and environmental impact. Turning commitments into achievements
- The largest renewable energy investment in Romania's food industry: Over 6,300 tons of CO2 emissions reduced through photovoltaic panels installed in 2023.
- Waste recovery Rate: Up to 99.41%, depending on activities and regions.
- CO2 reduction through packaging waste recycling: 838.05 tons reduced through packaging recycling efforts.
- Certified products ensuring consumer trust:
- The only Romanian poultry producer with GlobalG.A.P. Version 5.2 certification.
- 100% of poultry production certified under BRCGS Food Safety.
- 100% of breeding, hatching, and broiler farms certified under ISO 22000:2018.
- 100% of feed production certified under ISO 22000:2018.
- Social investments: 4.48 million RON directed toward education, health, and sports projects, supporting 41 organizations and numerous local initiatives.

TRANSAVIA’s 2023 Sustainability Report follows GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) 2021 standards, including the Agriculture-Specific Standard (GRI 13). It aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals for 2030 and anticipates the new ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards), voluntarily incorporating available data where possible. This approach ensures future compliance with financial year 2024 reporting requirements and the Romanian Sustainability Code methodology.
